Fine Molds answers the cries for a 1/72-scale Y-Wing Fighter with this stunning new release! With the fidelity of detail and maniacal pursuit of accuracy that have become Fine Molds’ trademarks, this kit is sure to please Y-Wing-starved Star Wars fans worldwide. The multi-layered levels of detail have to be seen to be believed! Fine Molds also did a tremendous job with the engineering of this kit, cleverly hiding parts’ joint seams under other detail parts to bring the modeler the utmost in accuracy and realism (yes, of course it’s a science fiction subject–but don’t tell us Star Wars fans it ain’t „real!”). Includes decals to model any one of three Gold Squadron Y-Wings: Gold Leader, Gold 2, or Gold 3. Decals also feature realistic weathering effects. Separate battle damage and weathering effect decals are included too, with clear instructions on where to apply them. Polycaps in the landing gear assemblies allow switching between gear-up and gear-down display (a nice stand with nameplate is included for gear-up display). The instructions and painting/marking sheet are primarily in Japanese, but with enough English included to make assembly and finishing a breeze!
